Todd Garthwait established Coastal Marine Center, a full service boat dealer, in 1986. Todd spent nearly 5 years prior working at other marinas in service and customer relations. Todd's twenty five years of experience in the pre-owned boat sales and brokerage industry will take you and your family to the next level in boating. Our Headquarters

The dealer headquarters has been located in the same location since 1988 in Nokomis, Florida. This completely fenced in area is well lit and secure. Full storage for all your needs when you decide to leave paradise for a short period or just need a place to keep your new or pre-owned boat year around. Land storage is a lot more affordable than a rack-o-minimum with less than 2 miles to travel to either boat ramp in the area. We have a full inventory of pre-owned boats such as pontoons, center consoles, cruiser boats, bowriders and more, just waiting for you to buy. We provide a brokerage service at our Florida location, and we are also a premier dealer that sells Mercury Outboards and MerCruiser Drives.

Our Staff

Todd Service Manager	Todd has been here for you and your family for over 24 years. Todd has raced on the APBA circuit and has tremendous knowledge and background in all aspects of boating. Todd has been a boater since his childhood and has worked in the marine industry all of his adult life. He has been involved in fishing tournaments of all kinds and has done a lot of in country and out of country diving including wreck diving. When it comes time to service your boat, his knowledge and experience save you time and money.
Dave Summerour Sales Manager	Dave Summerour moved here in 2007 to enjoy the florida lifestyle. Dave has had a lifetime of boating experience on the lakes of the midwest and now enjoys boating on the beautiful coast of florida with Coastal Marine. Stop in our new Venice location and visit with Dave.
Rick Mercury Certified Mechanic	Rick has over 24 years of marine technical service in various engine backgrounds. Rick is certified in many different areas of the industry from wiring to rebuilding complete engines. Rick participates in continuing education courses to keep his Mercury Outboard, Mercruiser Sterndrive, and other certifications up to date and to keep up with the marine industry’s latest technology.
Lynn Office Manager	Lynn is the office manager here at Coastal Marine. She handles all aspects of the day to day operations of the business including billing, title work, accounting and payroll.
